The kyoketsu-shogei was only used by ninjas. It has a dagger blade with a second blade hooking out, to which is attached a resilient cord from9 to 12 feet in length. At the end of this cord, made of women's hair in the ancient times, is tied to a steel ring 4 inches in diameter.
